A powerful PSA has a lot of opportunities to influence someone to do something or to not do something. Just by simply showing literal or non literal things that could show effects of something if its positive or negative. Honestly I completely believe that PSA's could influence actions of people as long as they can make a powerful statement about what ever their focusing on because if it can hit home and make them really think about that topic it has allot of possibilities. In our PSA we plan on making kids rethink vaping, since its so harmful to your body and could be a gateway to trying other drugs. Our audience should really care about this topic since allot of kids have tried and also own vapes.

Digital Manipulation

Surrealism is a cultural movement that began in the early 1920s, This is best known for its visual artworks and writings. My first concept of surrealism I did was be on my dirt bike jumping past the window of a airplane, My second concept was of a shrunk mason holding a giant key unlocking the computer cart. My third and final surrealism concept was of three tiny masons against a giant mac book air and giant iPhone. When I first presented my concepts to the class the classes feedback and opinions helped me form bigger and better ideas and it really paved my concepts. I believe my third and final concept had the most power full message, and it explains how technology has gotten bigger than life itself.

First Surrealist Image: Aim High
Second Surrealism Concept: Unlock your dreams, No matter your size
RGB color is used for digital communications, like television or websites and CMYK is used for stuff made for print, like brochures.RGB stands for Red,Green and blue these colors are recognized in design fields as primary colors. The RGB model is known as an additive model, where colors are added together to make up what we see on the screen. CMYK, stands for the colors cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, CMYK is that colors from the spectrum are subtracted from natural white light into pigments or dyes. The complexity and size of files are important because if you're working on your computer allot and you need to save as much storage as possible the file sizes are important.Raster is a digital image which can be displayed on a screen. Its made from pixels which are points of color, vectors can be used to create lines, shapes, and polygons.

Technology has gotten bigger than life itself

Below are the 4 photos that I took to create my final Surrealist concept...

With all of the technology now days it is much easier to work in photoshop and create a surrealist image, beside going out and having too completely draw or paint one, It is possible but much harder than working on computers. My best image was pretty good,  It could've been more better if I set the phone up differently but I had fun and it was good, All of our surrealism concepts were really good and i'm happy on the outcome of mine and also my classmates surrealism concepts.

This is the classes critique, check out my vimeo screencast below of the production of my third image below.

Hiki No Video

Our story is how the fish are affecting our reefs, and how they are greatly affecting the indigenous fish. Especially in Hawaii since most of our food is provided from the ocean we really should care and have that awareness on these fish because since some of these fish are non edible due too ciguatera there are just taking away our food source, since everyone doesn't eat fish it still could possibly impact them financially, maybe your favorite restaurant could close down because of of the reefs and waters affected and now you cant eat your favorite foods.

Practice Story

First, explain how you chose your interviewee, settled on your topic and assigned the team roles of writer, interviewer, reporter, director, cameraperson, and editor. Explain how everyone either stayed committed to their specific job or how they shifted as the production process progressed. Did this help or hurt the outcome of your story and why? (6 sentence minimum)

When choosing our interviewee we found that Dylan's surfing story's were very interesting so we chose him as our interviewee, also in our group Mason was our interviewer, and I was the camera man and director, when it came to editing Mr. Sanderl had to take over because of our absences and we had help from Angelina, from another group for our voiceovers. we did struggle since our team is so small and not consistently present to school, but we made it work and it didn't turn too bad.

Then, discuss why safety is your number one priority during the production process. What 3 safety concerns should your entire team be aware of while filming? Conclude with a reflection of your critique results. Please address the three largest words for improvement on the critique graphic. Provide specific examples of what you could do to create a more compelling story, both written and visually. (6 sentence minimum)

ALD 6.1: Anticipate potential health and wellness concerns while operating computing devices in order to enhance workplace safety.

Interview composition

The difference between a reporter shot and a interviewer shot is that when theres a reporter shot its bulls eye onto the reporter and he's looking directly at you, when theres a interview shot the host is not looking at the camera and he is speaking to someone out of the frame.

When interviewing someone, you should not have a bullseye shot, where you subject is in the middle of the frame, and also you should not have a choker shot where you are too zoomed in on their face, your subject should not have any shadows on their face, when if done so naturally makes the audience get distracted and focus on other things in the frame. They also should have perfect look room and head room in the frame.

Looking the wrong way

Theres a window protruding from his head
Too much look room

First Cinemagraph Plan:
For my first cinemagraph I'm planning on having leafs blowing in the wind and I could have everything else be still but the leaf swaying in the wind. It shouldn't to much of a difficult task and only take about a minute.

First Cinemagraph Reflection:
I am pretty happy on how my first cinema graph came out, if I had a better camera like a DSLR It would come out much better.but It is pretty good and simple for my first cinemagraph.

Second Cinemagraph Plan:
For my second cinemagraph I was going to have the clouds In a time lapse and a sprinkler frozen still, but In the clouds you can see the water, so what I did is have everything frozen but the sprinkler going back and fourth.

Second: Cinemagraph Reflection:
on my second cinemagraph If only I had a different angle of the shot I could've had the clouds moving and done my general idea of where just the clouds would be moving and everything is frozen. But generally I am pretty happy on the turnout of cine 2.

Third Cinemagraph Plan:
For my third cinemagraph I had a shot of me on my dirtbike, as I give it throttle smoke exits the exhaust, everything is frozen still but my wrist, twisting the throttle, and the smoke exiting the exhaust.

Third Cinemagraph Reflection:
For my third cinemagraph I was pretty happy on the turnout but it was a little too fast, I could've slowed it down a bit but its alright, I do like how the smoke exits the exhaust and everything is frozen but my throttle hand and the smoke.
